| Awesome Show.
Good times fun. Anyone should enjoy this show. The only irritating thing is when people spend 3/4 of their review writing about how Latinas are so subjected to stereotypes. Seems to me that everyone enjoys the show & only one person brought it up. Bringing up unnecessary racial remarks are why racism is still a problem. The girls signed up for the show, it's doing well, good luck to them, I enjoy it. Tired of racism. If you see racism in this series then I guess it's you. Well I just tried to submit my statement. Wouldn't go through because you need 10 lines of text. So let it be known that I usually never take this much time to give a show a good rating but, it is definitely worth a watch.

In Season 2, (the whole plot line around Marisol's new fiancé and Opal's obsession with the dead ex-wife) is heavily inspired by Daphne Du Maurier's novel Rebecca (also made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock with Lawrence Olivier and Joan Fontiane). Mrs Danvers, the maid in the novel "Rebecca" tries to scare Mrs DeWinter away from the mansion because she doesn't want to let go of Rebecca's memory or put away Rebecca's things even though she's been dead for over a year from a mysterious drowning.
