Horses and riding schools/ranches seem to be an effective backdrop for sex films, ranging from the crummy (Kendo's MADEMOISELLE'S STALLIONS) to ancient porn (PONY GIRLS with Candida Royalle, no less). This Filly Films Sapphic exercise is stimulating and populated only by young girls, per director (missing in action this time) Lily Cade's avoidance of the older/younger cliché.
The apparent one-day wonder benefits from location photography, plenty of horses lurking off-screen for the most part, and a game cast. Content is less than scintillating, though, as director Cade seems to have pulled some punches compared to her more gonzo usual product.
Strongest scenes are probably those in which a modicum of violence, forced sex or intimidation is involved. There's no script credit and no evidence of much scripting, but Lily has a general undertone of class system - alive and well here in America and especially in the upper-crust communities (think gated) who can afford to own, raise and ride horses.
Case in point is spoiled rich girl Sinn Sage (usually a dom anyway in her videos), verbally and physically abusing bespectacled stable girl Jay Taylor, who's just trying to earn enough money for her own rider lessons. Typically, the sturm and drang of fighting is merely an excuse for lovemaking, with the usual "you're not so bad after all" aftermath.
Finale is a threesome, after a couple (Hayden Hawkens and Zoey Kush) who have been trying to make out throughout the course of the video, finally hook up they're caught by a sort of mother -figure (though everyone here is the same age) Georgia Jones who instead of blackmailing them just joins in. This adds to the overall feel of "let's cut to the chase" that reduces RIDING SCHOOL to the "All Sex" bin for a lesbian rack-jobber out there, its character/story set-ups proving to be minimal.
Tall and lanky Tara Price is the DVD's cover girl, and "sell the sizzle not the steak" remains the video dictum, as her still shot posing with a beautiful horse is probably more stimulating than the explicit sex content of her humping Ally Evans.
