Finally we can write reviews on this one, .. cause it's excellent.

This is a dramady about a recent optimistic lawyer grad ending up working for a somewhat crass, morally corrupt but street smart lawyer. And of course this firm always end up facing their rival big firm where he practiced before.

The cases are interesting with some actually resolving outside of court so it's not same of court battle in the last 10min of each. I really like Masato Sakai,he with the ridiculous hair, bullet rate speech gives an intentionally needed over the top character. So the newbie balance it off with her righteousness and optimism.

Near the end there is a case on water/environmental issue and one of Masato's speech was very very well written but yet delivered in a light speed rate - in the style of his character.

    10/10
  • A perfect mix of comedy and lawyer drama. Male lead is exceptionally hilarious. His facial expression is so funny. His look is like the Japanese Stephen Chow.

The image of female lead is impressing. Her boot like shoe distinguish her from the normal high heel lawyers wearing.

There seems to be no romance line. But the poster looks like there is with the lead couple leaning so close together. Anyway it this is maybe sort of comic effect.

Not only does the acting but the story of each case is well written. I never come accross such an impressive legal drama. Let me finish it and add more to my review.
  • If you're not used to Japanese dramas, you will be put off by the over the top acting. This is comedy though, not really funny for me (maybe because of language barrier) but very insightful and addictive.
