Four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game.
This is the first Jumanji film to be shot digitally and in the wider 2.39:1 widescreen aspect ratio, unlike the original film which was shot on 35mm film on the standard spherical format for the taller 1.85:1 aspect ratio.
Dr. Smolder Bravestone:
This is a video game, which means we have special skills.
Moose Finbar: Why am I running so slow?
When the teens start the video game there is a loading screen. This is a cartridge based game and cartridge based video games did not require loading.
Batman Forever a cartridge based game gave players a "loading screen" back in the 90s.
Near the end of the closing credits, Jumanji's drums can be heard beating.
