I liked the movie overall, but I wasn't mesmerized by it either. It's engaging and all, but not to the point of other films played by Bauer (like "Preis der Freiheit").

newjersian1 July 2020It's about those imaginable lawyers who are not happy when they win a case for a rich client and get a huge remuneration. It also features a honest judge who defeats her own case by giving the defense lawyer a secret affidavit from a witness that was not attached to the case. It makes this movie a good candidate for getting a prize in the fantasy genre. And all this drivel is going on slowly torturing the viewer with boredom. An absolute waste of time.
