When the leader of the Wolves is killed, it's by the Monk's staff, and he sinks into the moor. In the next shot, when the group is crossing the moor, the Monk is seen with the staff, yet at the "last stand" moment, he is weaponless, as seen by Jorund tossing him one of his knives.
When Inghean pulls the arrow off Asbjorn's shoulder and puts some moss on a wound, she says "Against gangrene". Gangrene was named in XVI century while Vikings were mostly in Scotland between VIII and XI.
When the body is burned on the funeral pyre, the corpse's neck pulse is visible in the close-up shot.
The crossbow which Inghean picks up in the tower and uses later in the film clearly has a glass fibre bow. Also it has a handle, supposedly for pulling back the bowstring, but which is not real because the string doesn't move on the one occasion we see her use the handle.
At the encounter at the bridge, Grim has blood all over his blade before the first of the mercenaries has been killed by a sword.
One of the horses at the farm has a modern synthetic rope as a halter.
