Ben 10 and all its spin off series have had their ups and downs, from simple Saturday morning cartoon to darker and more serious action cartoon and now a more comedy and action balanced show. All fans have different opinions of which was the best and I am no different, but Ben 10 Omniverse isn't as bad as it may seem. Omniverse trades out the Saturday morning cartoon "monster of the week" for multiple episode arcs. The monster of the week part is still there, but bigger villains usually take a little long to beat. Because of this, a lot of story elements take longer to resolve, which isn't a bad thing, and give more to enjoy in character interactions. It may have a slow start, but as it goes on and new characters and villains are added, it only makes the show better and better.
If you enjoy multiple episode arcs and a better balance of comedy and action, I highly recommend Omniverse, and if not their are plenty of different Ben 10 out their to enjoy.

I only made this account just to write a review for this show (as it is my favorite) and I am currently sick of seeing all these negative reviews about it. Ben 10: Alien Force took a darker tone on the Ben 10: franchise which I liked, however it wasn't the original Ben 10. Ben 10 Omniverse after all these years is more spirited towards the original series (which is by far the best.) The art style in this show was creative and colorful and it worked. I also think the character designs were very unique and not generic as in UAF. In Ben 10: Omniverse the colors are very nice and vibrant and really create a nice scene (and this show has some of the best action scenes I have ever seen.) Now to the aliens. In the original series the aliens that came along had this charm to it, and they were extremely creative from a walking torch to an alien mummy to a creature completely covered in eyes that can shoot laser beams. The charm of the aliens was lost in Alien Force but got better with ultimate alien. But in Omniverse, The alien designs were AMAZING. Aliens like Feedback, Bloxx, Gravattack, and Gutrot had charming designs and you could tell the charm from the original series was there. Like the original series they had cool costumes to go with the alien. The transformation sequences were also impressive. Ben 10: Omniverse overall had a genius and clever story, like having a time war with Ben battling versions of himself from other dimensions, and his inter dimensional counterpart having to go back in time to where Ben found the omnitrix, and having to make sure him gets it. We also get more backstory on characters and with every episode being action packed and entertaining, some stood out as incredible. I think Ben 10: Omniverse is incredibly underrated, usually for its change in art style (which I love and have no problem with by the way. Overall I think this series is very entertaining and I always recommend you watch it.
The show is rated 5.7 but worth 10.
A nice show, but it was criticized not by the haters of Ben 10, but it criticized a fan of Ben 10 only for modifying the style of drawing that resulted from the death of Dwayne MacDuffie, one of the writers in the series God bless his soul.
The new and final show from the series made many reforms for many mistakes in the whole series, but it was not enough for fans only because of the style of painting and replacing Gwen and Kevin with the character Rock, which is a wonderful character.
The style may be silly and the comedy is overrated but it is still a great show and contains the best episodes like the universe against Ben 10 or the weapon X. It is the greatest of all episodes and look at the ratings most episodes get 8.5 and 9.
I liked it throughout the four comedy series. It was never a major classification, but it continued with this show. It was distinguished by more comedy, but sometimes it is annoying.
I love this show and All other shows from ben 10
I'm so fed up with all the negative reviews I've seen Omniverse getting that I just had to write my own for it.
For me, Ben 10: Omniverse saved what Ultimate Alien destroyed. I found the story to be lacking and actually dropped the show during that season because it just didn't hold any interest. I also have to admit that since the new art style of Omniverse didn't appeal to my eye, I completely ignored it for the first two seasons.
However, I lately found myself missing the feeling of Ben 10 and tried to re-watch it through starting with the first season but sadly, not many of those episodes could hold a second watch and still be interesting; amidst my watching of the original series, I stumbled upon some later episode of Omniverse and fell in love in those 20 minutes.
The light feeling and the chemistry between the new duo was much better than I'd assumed and even though the art and animation were still sore to my eyes, I got past them because the experience itself was pleasant.
I admit that the art and animation of the earlier seasons is much more to my taste and even though I hate the new look they gave Gwen, I think this show is exactly what the franchise needed. I agree that it might have had the feeling of milking it away during Ultimate Alien, which to me had no point what so ever but now I feel like I'm back to getting the same feeling as I did when I first started watching the show Ben 10.
Although the flashback stories and the 11-year-old Ben in this series could be better written and more loyal to the original series and are probably the worst part of it, I would give it a change. They keep putting more and more focus on the present time and keeping the flashbacks as a minimum "refreshments". You will always see a lot of people putting it down, but to me it has been the only series of the franchise that's been able to last interesting past the first watch. I actually watched the both seasons twice in three weeks just because of how pleasantly surprised I was by them.
And now the new color palette of the third season promises something new and I am eagerly waiting what's to come.
So, despite all the negative reviews you might hear about it, I would give Omniverse chance anyway - as it seems to be one of those sequel shows that divide people harshly in those who love it and those who hate it and you might just as well be part of us belonging to the former.

This show is cool!!..Even if this is has a less action and changes in art. The show is highly underrated and is good to watch. The story later in the show is completely awesome and creates a new outlook of the epic BEN 10 show..i would be glad if they had brought some more action and darkness into the show. But when i see the reboot i think that they should have continued this one as it deserved more than it got.

- TriviaAs much of the same cast has worked on the fan-favorite Transformers show Transformers: Animated (2007), including art director and big-time Transformers nut Derrick Wyatt, this cartoon contains a number of hidden references or "easter-eggs" to that series. For example in one of the episodes, Grimlock's sword and Lockdown's hook-hand appear in Khyber's trophy-room. One of the villain henchmen from the series pilot was meanwhile based on a character from Challenge of the GoBots (1984).
