  • Seriously, like movie sequels not as good as the first. I give this game a 5 out of 10 for certain reasons 1: The co-op mode sucks. Seriously, What if the person you give the second controller too. Does not know how to play the game! That sucks.

2: The story is too long and drawn out for my taste.

3: The difficulty came from HELL!!! this game is way harder then the first game which made me rage quit when I tried to play it on my Xbox profile.

This game was o.k. Just get past those 3 reasons and your good. The story is interesting and sometimes can lead to Huge dramatic irony. The controls in the game are to complicated for kids under 7 years old. This game should have been E10. Well that's my opinion, if you don't like it. Stop reading my reviews! (just kidding give me your opinions.)
  • Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is almost 11 years old at the time of this review (2023) and my love for this game is undying. The story is phenomenal, and the music is even better (thanks to Jim Dooley)!

One thing the haters love to complain about is the musical aspect of it, but they just can't respect the art of it. The game would not be nearly as good if the Mad Doctor didn't have his awesome musical numbers. The addition of the Mad Doc's singing and voice actors in general was a really great way to make it stand out from the first game.

Other things the haters like to complain about is the camera and Oswald's AI. Trust me when I say, they're not nearly as bad as everyone makes them out to be. It's pretty rare that the camera will ever get stuck in a position that will cause you turmoil while playing the game; and Oswald's AI might get stuck somewhat often, but it's hardly significant.

My one and only complaint is that the second Epic Mickey is not nearly as dark and eerie as the first game, but it makes up for it in many ways. Firstly, like I mentioned before, the voice acting makes it so much easier to follow the story and enjoy the visuals without having to read a caption when a character is talking. Secondly, the side quests are much more refined. In the first Epic Mickey it seemed that there was a side quest added to every step you took, whereas in Epic Mickey 2, that is not the case.

Y'all, I am so serious. You will not regret playing this game. Anyone I've know who's ever played this game has loved it. The way it's been over a decade and the game's large and extremely loyal fanbase is still talking about it speaks for itself. Disney could not go wrong if they finally decided to make a third game. It would be great to introduce this masterpiece to the younger generation. If you're thinking about picking up a copy of this game for the Wii, Wii U, Xbox, PlayStation, or PC... do it. You will not regret it!!!
  • This game is damn near perfect. From the very beginning of the first cutscene the brilliant and beautiful world of Epic Mickey is shown to you. The story is absolutely incredible. The character arcs and plot twists and storytelling is so GOOD. The colors just pop and everything looks stellar. Co-op mode is phenomenal. The score and OST is SO GOOD! Best part about the game. The very first time you boot up the game the title theme blesses your ears with a magnificent song. I could still recite the whole thing to this day. As for the plot, it is incredible. The teamwork Oswald and Mickey have to use is nothing short of an amazing experience. Some of the best boss fights in gaming, massively underrated. This is one of the 2 games I would ever say is a Masterpiece. (The other being spider man ps4) I am definitely playing the remake of the first game on my PS5 when it comes out. In conclusion, play the damn game.
