Brilliant!

This is one of my new Fav's - similar Anime was hard to find but here's the ones I liked from most to least- Bed and Breakfast for Spirits Morose The Monokien Meiji Tokyo Renka Fruits Basket.

The main character Nanami is so funny sometimes and the other main guy is really breathtaking Tomoe you beautiful Yokai !! You will like me fall in love. All the episodes are great even the Ova and extra 4 episodes- there is 2 seasons for now but season 3 is definitely in the works I watched this Anime because Google told me it was like Noragami !! So thanks Noragami also one not to miss they are similar .

I really enjoyed this anime, I love the fact Tomoe and Nanami's realtionship went from hating each other to caring of one another. They do deserve to be a couple because of course, Tomoe's ears were cute and he was pretty much Nanami's knight and shining armour. Nanami on the other hand, is a pretty much intelligent and brave individual whom I love when she pisses Tomoe off in a good way!

I know I always sound pretty cheesy and not make sense with my reviews but c'mon lads, this was a pretty good romantic film. Now it's not my favourite but I have such high high respect for it!

It was even good too that J. Michael Tatum was on this too, this anime reminds me of "Spice and Wolf" I've seen not long ago but the two are completely different at the same time. I highly recommend that btw as its pretty great too!

Excellent Anime

The best romantic and mystical story. Magical fairy tail feels like the alternative reality which takes you directly into different dimensional world.

The characters are unforgettable. Tomoe the main character is the most charismatic and beautiful personage I've ever seen. Nanami is sweetest and most kindhearted. Every personage in this anime are unforgettable and even though this story is really fun and romantic is has it's own sad part, which every time can kick your heart. But even in the most dramatic situations there appear funniest jokes that makes you laugh even with the tears on your eyes.

This anime fills you with bright energy, love and Happiness. You can feel goosebumps while watching it from the very first episode till the end. Happiness overdose for me personally.

Wish and wait for the third season.

A Must for Any Romance Lover

This is a great romantic comedy. I watched it on a whim one day when I was sick, and absolutely fell in love with it. It reminded me of Fruits Basket X Inuyasha in a lot of ways. Tomoe felt way too feminine in the beginning, but then you realize that it's more a facade than anything else. Kind of what Kenshin is to the Battousai (Rurouni Kenshin reference). The artwork is beautiful!!! The characters have great depth and memorability. Although it does end before you get to find out what really happened to Tomoe, it appears kamisama hajimemashita kako-hen is a mini OVA that answers those questions. The manga does continue well past both collections if you get addicted like I did.

When I started watching I wasn't completely sure about the series, but it soon started to evolve into an amazing story. Characters are very well developed, they have depth and are very memorable and relatable. if you love romance with fantasy elements, then this is a must watch for you. Give it a chance and I can assure you your heart will be racing in no time! Highly recommended!

The one flaw is the plot

It seems like a lot of the problems in each episode are solved within one episode sometimes two in the first season. I could watch them out of order, it feels like. That's the only issue. I do love the overall plot and characters.

Stupid but cute

This is romantic comedy with a background sort of similar to Spice and Wolf. The story itself is stupid but nonetheless cute and has its moments. The most interesting part, perhaps, is to to see what the next episode will do.

There's hardly any character progression other than a childish he was stupid/bad until now and now he's a good guy. The main character has basically no progression other than moving through the story. The story itself nothing special.

Dropped after the first season.

This show is both, hysterical, teeth-rottingly-sweet and romantic (I think I did the hyphens right), and appropriate for all ages, the art style is amazing, the characters absolutely adorable and endearing to watch, there's real character development and actually somewhat realistic (at least in my eye's) romantic buildup that is so sickeningly sweet it makes you wanna cry (in a good way). And I'm a college guy, this show is designed for teenage girls, yet I love it anyway. Maybe I'm just weird. If you're a die-hard romantic or like romance of any sort, you'll enjoy this. With the romance in the air, the copious amounts of slapstick (and child appropriate) comedy, and just a smattering of drama here and there to pull some heartstrings, you could be between 8 and 80 and ANY gender, and enjoy it.

OVA should be watched ( 5 episode after season 2)

This anime hit me on my heart Nanami is funny female main chact. And Tomoe... He is diffrent story ;) guys in anime mostly be okey but I dont like much kind and naive female chact. Romance animes should be bit crazy. First season is not so good especially middle but season 2 is evocatory and exciting. And There are 5 episode after season 2. But are not include season 3. Called OVA. If you will watch all seasons please watch OVA too. Not registered on imdb by the way.

5% romance, 95% everything else but romance

What else can I say lol? I was searching for a nice romance and reading the reviews I thought I'll give Kamisama a chance and I painfully watched all episodes hoping that the romance would be more out there but nope. The romance is vague and the anime overall pretty childish. Don't get me wrong I am not really that picky when it comes to anime, I am the type who can appreciate good art, music, a good story, character development or a character well written, comedy, anything relevant for an anime really. Kamisama besides some comedic moments (and yes I admit, the main male character Tomoe has a quite attractive design, the girl looks derpy but still cute ), doesn't really shine from any point of view. Below average anime, It took me 2 years to finally finish it LOL.

It's very funny anime and super good. I'm still hoping for season 3 to be release. I have read the manga as well. I just can't get enough of this anime. The story and plot was a 10 especially the English dub as well. They did really well, throughout these years I'm still hoping for season 3. Yokai and Human love is always the best in the animation it's one of my favorite genre lol. Especially historical. Anyways I'm just writing the review bcuz I miss this anime so much it's pretty good for 2012-2015 animation.

It's so good!! This is my absolute favorite! The animation is great. Very detailed drawings of each character. I watched the dubbed version and the voice actors are actually good. I love the storyline. It's a nice lighthearted anime. You should definitely give it a try!

I just finished watching the anime last week and I fall in love with this anime when i first watched it. The story is just damn beautiful, unique, and different from other anime that I had watched before. It has everything such as Romance, Comedy, Action, Fantasy, and Suspense. I love Tomoe's character so much, he's the perfect man. I love how he teases Nanami but in deep his heart, he care for Nanami and loves other characters too such as Mizuki, Kurama, and more. I'm so happy that I decided to watch this anime although I'm late because this anime came out about l0 year ago but it's worth watching it!

I highly recommend it to anyone who likes romance anime or is a newbie to watch this anime, you guys will not regret this. My mind can't stop thinking about this anime the whole week and cried a lot but it was a tear of joy because I truly love this anime and can't believe it already ended. The OST of this anime is also beautiful and touching, every part of it you will love it. Also, don't forget to watch the OVA, you must watch it and if you want more details, you can read the Manga. I wish that this anime has season 3 or a movie.

My favorite anime type is High school rom com and slice of life anime...I watched many anime so I tell you guys this anime is one of the best anime i ever seen......And also correct watch order is Season 1 then Season 1 OVA (2 episode 14 min each) then Season 2 then Season 2 OVA (5 Episode 30 min each but 5th Ova episode is 14 min) Guys Don't forget to Watch OVA episode is continue the Story...

Kamisama is so good not a single episode was boring like it was so entertaining throughout the whole show and as soon as I finished one season I wanted to start the next as soon as possible - fantasy + romance + action + historical + comedy + sad it had everything every emotion was felt . Really good plot and storyline. Character development for sure like for nanami and tomoe the most you see it in the manga. Its just so exciting and when watching you feel like you discovered the cutest best romance I wish I could re watch it al over again like the first time. Its so fun. What else can I say? They have such good chemistry Love the enemies to lovers thing too onggg.
