Gabriel Luna has joined “The Terminal List” Season 2 in a recurring guest star role, Variety has learned.

Luna will appear in the series alongside returning star Chris Pratt, who will once again star as Navy Seal James Reece in the Amazon Prime Video military thriller drama. The first season, which debuted in 2022, was based on the Jack Carr novel of the same name. Season 2 is based on Carr’s novel “True Believer,” the second in the James Reece book series.

Luna will appear as Freddy Strain. The character is described as “Former Seal Team 6 Senior Chief and current officer with CIA’s Ground Branch, Freddy Strain is a man of two worlds – equal parts elite sniper and dedicated family man. The new movie Drop just had its world premiere at the South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival, and the critics in attendance couldn't have been more impressed. With its debut score earned from its SXSW reviews, the film has drawn unanimous love.

As a former star of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., actor Gabriel Luna is known in part for his role as the Robbie Reyes incarnation of Ghost Rider. Though the series ended in 2017, Luna is keeping the door open for a potential return, given how the expansion of the McU's multiverse makes it more possible than ever before.

At the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival, Luna and The Astronuat co-star Kate Mara spoke with Grae Drake of Cbr to promote the premiere of their new film. Their past superhero roles were discussed, given how Mara also played Sue Storm in 2015's Fantastic Four movie. Luna noted how he "enjoyed" the time he spent playing Ghost Rider, but when it came to possibly revisiting the role, he always fell back on a "stock answer" about just appreciating the work he did in the past. With that said, he's making it clear he's open to revisiting Robbie Reyes.

Prime Video is gearing up for the anticipated third season premiere of the hit fantasy series The Wheel of Time. On March 13, the show will return with the first three episodes of Season 3, and new episodes will then be released weekly on Prime Video.

Coming ahead of the show's return, Cbr can unveil a sneak peek clip from one of the new episodes. In the clip, Lord Galad (Callum Kerr) and Lord Gawyn (Luke Fetherston) have a sparring match in the White Tower, delighting the Novices and Nynaeve (Zoë Robins), amusing their sister Elayne (Ceara Coveney), and annoying Mat (Dónal Finn). Marvel continues to evolve plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the TV show Moon Knight has now been cancelled.

Marvel Studios is in the middle of a pivot for its ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while subtly changing the direction of something so large and lumbering takes time, there are occasional markers laid down that give us a clear sense of where things are heading.

One such marker is today’s announcement from Marvel Television executive Brad Winderbaum, stating that Moon Knight won’t be getting a second season.

Fans of Disney+ and Marvel are eagerly awaiting the debut of Daredevil: Born Again. The new Disney+ series is a sequel to the Netflix show with Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer whose special abilities allow him to be the costumed crime fighter Daredevil.

With fans happy to see Daredevil back, there's a question if the other Marvel Netflix series could return. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel's head of streaming, television, and animation, Brad Winderbaum, confirmed, "We are very much exploring" that possibility.

Exclusive: ITN Distribution has acquired North American rights to the thriller Joe Baby, starring Dichen Lachman, Willa Fitzgerald, Ron Perlman, and Harvey Keitel.

The film, directed by Steven Brand, follows a money collector (Lachman) for a private investigator hired to track down 10 million dollars stolen in a dodgy real estate deal, opening a complex can of worms. Kelly Hu, Kenneth Choi, Corin Nemec, David Lipper, Dan Bakkedahl, and Jason London round out the key cast.

2021 was a big year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as after a year-long delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the franchise came roaring back with a slew of new entries. Phase 4 of the MCU did not begin with a film, but the McU's first proper foray into television series with WandaVision, which, unlike previous series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Daredevil, or The Runaways, promised to connect to the MCU films more. While series like Loki, What If...?, and Hawkeye shortly followed, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier might have been the biggest.

Prime Video on Wednesday released the official trailer (watch above) for the Patricia Riggens-directed movie, which premieres Thursday, April 10. The Wheel of Time will start spinning again when Season 3 of the Prime Video adaptation premieres on Thursday, March 13.

Season 3 will premiere with the first three episodes, followed by weekly drops building to an April 17 finale.

Netflix’s “The Witcher” puts its spin on “The Little Mermaid” in “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep.” Set during the events of Season 1, the new animated film adapts from Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story “A Little Sacrifice” (which was itself inspired by the classic fairytale).

The film follows Geralt and Jaskier to a seaside town to investigate attacks, only to wind up in the middle of a long-brewing conflict between the humans and merpeople before it turns into all-out war. The adaptation brings some of its own spin to the tale, featuring voices that “Witcher” fans will recognize from the games and live-action series alike — as well as some newcomers.

Following the recent trade reports that Buffy the Vampire Slayer is officially set to return to send the creatures of the night running for cover, the star of the original series has confirmed her involvement - although it doesn't sound like everything is set in stone just yet.

Nicolas Cage played Ghost Rider in two disappointing Sony Pictures movies. When the sequel bombed, the rights to the character reverted to Marvel Studios and that's where he's remained ever since. 

As we write this, rumours are swirling about the Spirit of Vengeance appearing in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Spider-Man 4. There's also been chatter of a solo movie or TV series, suggesting there are finally firm plans for the anti-hero after Robbie Reyes' brief stint in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Premiering on LGBTQ streaming platform Revry on Feb. 11, the TV comedy series stars Williamson as Noah, a queer millennial questioning the future of his 10-year marriage to his husband Dan (James Bland). Netflix's legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer will see Emmy-nominated actor Constance Zimmer starring in a new main role. Zimmer will play Dana Berg in the show's fourth season.

Per Deadline, Zimmer's character willappear in all ten episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4. Dana Berg is one of the main characters in the sixth book in Michael Connelly's The Law of Innocence series, which the new season will be based upon. After Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) is arrested at the end of Season 3, he will have to defend himself in a murder trial and face off against Zimmer, who portrays the tough prosecutor with ties to his first ex-wife, Maggie (Neve Campbell).

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is officially set to return to combat the forces of darkness.

The trades have confirmed that Buffy is being resurrected for a new Hulu series, which will serve as more of a sequel to the original show than a full reboot, as Sarah Michelle Gellar is set to reprise her iconic role.

Though Gellar is now said to be in final talks to play Buffy Summers in the untitled project, she would not be the main focus. The story will reportedly follow the adventures of a new Slayer, with Gellar appearing in a recurring role rather than leading the series.

Nora Zuckerman and Lila Zuckerman are attached to write, showrun, and executive produce, with Eternals director Chloé Zhao set to helm the pilot and executive produce under her Book of Shadows production banner. Variety has learned from sources that a sequel series to the beloved show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” is nearing a pilot order at Hulu.

Sources say that Sarah Michelle Gellar is in final talks to once again play the iconic title character in the untitled project, although it would focus on a new Slayer and Gellar would appear in a recurring role rather than leading the series.

Nora Zuckerman and Lila Zuckerman are attached to write, showrun, and executive produce. Chloé Zhao is attached to direct and executive produce under her Book of Shadows production banner. Gellar would also executive produce along with Gail Berman. Fran Kuzui and Kaz Kuzui will executive produce via Suite B, while Dolly Parton will executive produce via Sandollar. 20th Television and Searchlight Television will produce. Berman, the Kuzuis, and Parton were all executive producers on the original “Buffy” series.
