This show has a lot of actors cast as lords and ladies. But the cast actually has a real one. Clara Paget's birth name, is Lady Clara Elizabeth Iris Paget. Her father is Charles Paget, 8th Marquess of Anglesey.
Goofs
In the opening title sequence, one of the ivory figures holds a musket with a "spike," or epee, bayonet. Spike bayonets weren't invented until the 1880s, far outside the scope of the Age of Piracy and the series.
