PG-13 | | Action, Comedy
A suburban couple becomes embroiled in an international espionage plot when they discover that their seemingly perfect new neighbors are government spies.
This film was made and released about three years after the similarly-titled film Keeping up with the Joneses: The Movie (2013). Both pictures are comedies but are unrelated.
You broke into our house. What kind of neighbors are you?
Jeff Gaffney: You bugged our house. What kind of neighbors are you?
Tim Jones: Good point.
When we see Jeff & Karen standing on the pavement outside their house near the start of the film we can see behind them that there is a white board covering part of the pavement and grass behind them (I assume that there is a hole) and has earth around it trailing onto the grass, in the continuing next shot the board is not there the pavement looks like nothing has happened to it.
