I enjoyed the second episode of this popular Lesbian series, but given its 3-hour running time I was surprised that at no point does the title premise of cheerleading or even academic/sports related characters become relevant. What we have is strictly standard older/younger girl/girl action with the unnamed auteur (probably label honcho Dan O'Connell) disinterested in story values.
Bed-hopping action gets off to a strong start when Lexi Belle seduces India Summer in latter's motel room -it's fun watching India squirm in embarrassment. Topping it off is Lexi doing her with a strap-on.
Syren De Mer gives a fine performance (in sharp contrast to her recent campy overacting for the new Girlsway lesbian label) in a nostalgic scene, reminiscing with her old buddy Abby Darling, revolving around that cliché of having "fooled around at college" with another woman. The resulting age-appropriate sexual pairing is a romantic sex scene including foot-fetish action. Darling has hardly any screen career but does a good job this time out.
Jessie Andrews is typecast as a little minx, a self-professed "closet lesbian" who seduces Abby at her home -latter getting considerable sack time compared to her big-name co-stars.
Finale sort of capitalizes on Girlfriends Films' big hit "Poor Little Shyla", as Georgia Jones (a Mean Girl villain in "Shyla") is re-cast as pitiful kid on crutches, being cared for by Syren. Massaging the girl's leg finds Syren's hand straying to her panties with a "Does that feel good?" come-on, leading to lesbian sex after a slow build-up.
All well and good, but only the "sleepover" of the title has any bearing on the proceedings.
