A small business owner is about to lose her shop to a major corporate development.
The main plot of the story of a small independent candy store going out of business because of a corporate chain candy store is ripped off of You've Got Mail (1998), which was a remake of The Shop Around the Corner (1940).
So, uh, Molly...
Molly: Listen, before you ask me anymore questions from the Icebreaker Handbook, here's the 411: Upper Sweet Side NYC. Does the name ring a bell?
Joel: Yeah. Little candy shop?
Molly: Ding ding ding! Give the man a prize, he's a winner! What does he ...
(at around 33 mins) Joel gives a burger to Tucker. Molly said "go and eat it in your bedroom". When Tucker is climbing the stairs a few seconds later, we can see his hands are empty. The burger is gone.
Shot on location in New York City, which is almost like another character.
