An uptight FBI Special Agent is paired with a foul-mouthed Boston cop to take down a ruthless drug lord.
The first 20th Century Fox film since mid-2010 to have its 35mm release prints on Kodak film, following Kodak's June 2013 agreement with Fox to supply film to its motion pictures. The studio had previously switched to printing on Fuji. This is also the last time the 20th Century Fox logo used the "A News Corporation Company" byline. Beginning from Turbo (2013), it was byline-less for the first time since 1981.

Outside the interrogation room, Mullins complains about Ashburn's barrette so Ashburn removes the barrette and pulls her hair behind her right ear. Ashburn's hair repeatedly changes from behind her ear to covering her ear to partially covering her ear between shots.
According to the end credits, Gina's Boobs are played by Jessica Chaffin's Boobs.
The Blu-ray release contains an extended cut with just over 3 minutes of additional material.
