The recent "Undercover- Inside China" episode was a complete distortion of the facts surrounding the situation in China. They've chosen to present "facts" to fit a particular anti-China narrative, rather than the real truth.
Xinjiang (a name which the basic pronunciation thereof escapes the narrators speaking abilities) during this time period... the heinous and unprovoked attacks on innocent citizens, based solely on appearance I might add, not only on the streets on Urumqi, as if it were an isolated incident, but all around China, within a few months time period, sparked all of this. Brutally murdering people in the streets with bats, axes, swords and machetes.. Add to that, in every city around China you will find street gangs of Uighurs pick pocketing, intimidating, beating and terrorizing people. The government clearly has had enough and decided to take drastic action to protect innocent citizens. You can find videos of all of it online.
In China, if you aren't breaking laws, you will never be bothered by police - regardless of race, religion or whatever. If however you are taking part in criminal activities, especially terrorist acts against innocent civilians, regardless of race, religion or whatever, expect swift and severe punishment. It is as simple as that. When you poke the bear, expect a bite. End of.
The Brits behind this show need to check themselves and their own history of discrimination and genocide around the globe - continuing to this very day.
