Passionate, powerful, hopeful and so sweet, world of emotions and experiences displayed beautifully.
I thought nothing could top my favorite Yang Yang drama to date: You are my glory, but this one has made it possible.
I love a lot of his dramas ( except for the highly overrated Love O20, which is possibly one of the worst cdramas ever) but he has just great hits!!! Who rules the world was also fantastic (minus the disastrous ending) and so on.
Was my first time seeing the lead actress but even though she is much younger than him, she was great in it, I am a fan.
I expected this one to bore me a bit with the rescue scenes but I was so wrong.
The drama is heavily focused on their personal lives and specially in their love story and how they have lived throughout the years with and without each other until their reunion.
It's fascinating how this show never dragged any of its plots for long and they kept giving us clues of underlying past problems from the beginning and you will never expect when they would resurface to interfere in their relationship.
This script is written in a very clever and skilled way and I really found it very interesting. Loved all the twists and subplots too, nothing cliché here.
The character development and growth it's MASSIVE, and you don't see typical personalities or actions, you won't even get frustrated with the decisions ( or lack of) of our leads because everything they do it's connected to a past experience and emotion and it makes sense for them to behave that way. Sometimes when we get hurt we put on an armor to protect our heart and it takes time for that armor to fall.
The chemistry between the leads is off the charts and you can see their passion, feelings and emotions in every gaze, touch and hug, it's just beautiful to observe and it will make you smile ( sometimes cry too!)
I highly recommend you to watch this show as soon as you can, you won't regret it.

Long story short:
I skipped and fast forwarded throughout the episodes and I really didn't miss anything. That's how boring and bad it was.
More detailed review:
Meh...the story drags on a lot and it becomes extremely boring once they get together. It lacks the main thing that people want to see: relationship development between the two main characters and that is because the producers added a huge amount of unnecessary and useless scenes, that no one cares about, especially boring scenes of their workplace.
Really disappointing.
Conclusion: If you want a good romance drama, skip this one. There are a lot of other better c-dramas.

From the moment I pressed play on the very first episode, I was transported into a world of mesmerizing storytelling and stunning visuals. The drama's enchanting plotline and well-developed characters weaved a tapestry of emotions, pulling me in with each passing scene. The compelling narrative unfolded gracefully, taking me on an emotional rollercoaster of joy, sorrow, and everything in between. The characters were not just fictitious entities on the screen; they felt like real people, each possessing their own dreams, flaws, and aspirations. Their struggles and triumphs mirrored our own, making it effortless for viewers to empathize with their journeys.
The best thing about this series is Yang Yang, the leading male actor who does an excellent job playing the Fireman Captain in this Romantic C-Drama. I have seen him before in Love 0a20 which turned out to be one of my favorite C-Dramas so was excited to see him play another leading man role. The female led role was cast good to match him in good physical looks but the scripting for her could have been better as she was portrayed as being too weak to stand up to her unusually controlling mother. What professional woman DR can't see the love of her life for 10 years because her mother says so? A little unbelievable script. The valor of the fire department scenes and the dedication of the fire department team and the leadership of the Captain definitely is portrayed excellent, however the self-promotion of Chinese philosophy does appear in these dramas. Had to reduce 2 stars for the sake that in the end there was no wedding per se but a recital of the Chinese Soldier Oath (not even the fireman oath) near the ending instead. Strange ending for a love story indeed. But still worth watching if you like emergency scenes, rescuing, of course along with the rescuing there has to be a death and miracles too.
Another odd thing I just finished watching C-Drama "Here We Meet Again" which starred Vin Zhang and I noticed he was in this drama as a fireman too, so I wanted to see how he would do in thls role since he just finished a successful romantic lead role. Why he took such a back-seat role (cameo?) after just finishing so successfully doesn't make sense, but he does make a great fireman.

I really enjoyed this series. It has great depth, a good storyline that is not predictable and yet anyone can relate to because it touches on so many aspects of life. Initially I found it a bit slow but I stayed with it because I recognize the cast is really good and love the camaraderie in the both the hosp ital and the fire services department. The life saving events in both departments are very real, well made and moving too. The romance between the two leads is a tumultuous affair as both have undergone pain and the series gives much room to develop their characters and bring them together again. All the side plots of the supporting cast are interesting too. A highly recommended watch.
