Painfully funny! I do mean hysterical. I do mean Ouch. "Lawrence & Holloman" is adapted from the stage-play of the same name, written by award winning playwright and theatre director, Morris Panich. The best written scripts often come from the theatre, and this film is no exception. The performances are superlative. The direction is inventive, and the film is highly entertaining from beginning to end. Among it's many awards, "Lawrence & Holloman," was the winner of "Best Feature" at the 15th annual Canadian Comedy Awards. Notably (deservedly), Ben Cotton (Lawrence) won the award for "Best Comedic Acting," at the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. "Lawrence & Holloman" is without a doubt one of the most unusual Buddy Movies ever made! Not to be missed. Comedy never hurt so good!
