The large arch seen on the planet Jakku is a design by Ralph McQuarrie that first appeared in the 1995 book "The Illustrated Star Wars Universe." It was originally pictured as part of Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine, and it also appeared as part of the Teth monastery in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008).
Lor San Tekka:

While Poe leads the aerial assault on the oscillator, in the closeups of Poe and other X-wing fighter pilots, note the cockpit windows at the pilots' left and right have identical marks and scratches in their individual X-wings. It's particularly noticeable when one closeup follows another.
The stars that form the backdrop for the end credits are exactly the same stars as in the beginning of the movie.
IMAX releases presented the five-minute sequence in which Rey and Finn escape Jakku in the Millennium Falcon (which was shot with IMAX 70mm cameras) in an opened aspect ratio compared to the rest of the film.
