A vacationing family encounters an alien threat in this thriller based on the real-life Brown Mountain Lights phenomenon in North Carolina.
The alien prop now resides in Morganton NC &and occasionally appears at town events such as the Halloween festival.
Firearm error: The action, report and sound of shell casings are characteristic of a centerfire rifle, not a .22 as depicted in dialogue and on camera. In addition, the holes made by the weapon on the door were far larger than are typical of a .22 or any commonly used handgun or rifle.
There are two extra scenes during the credits. One related to the movie. The other is a series of clips of interviews with people talking about their experiences with the Brown Mountain Lights.
