This film is quite rare as the VHS I found on Ebay cost me quite a bit and while the film is decent enough I don't think it exactly lives up to its rarity and asking price(Which is why I plan on uploading it online at some point so others won't have to track it down like I did). One issue with the tape I have is that the English subtitles are sometimes cut off at the edge of the screen(and I watched this on an HDTV so it's not my Television that's the issue)I still got the gist of what was being said but it was kind of annoying.

As for the film itself it's an OK martial-comedy about a nephew and his uncle trying to get rich via boxing while many hijinks ensue, there's some weird transvestite-related humor near the start that feels a bit out of place but other then that it has the kind of humor you'd expect from a Hong Kong action-comedy(my favorite bit was the one guy getting worn out by sex from his girlfriend "training" him for his fight). The boxing action is OK but even with the Hong-Kong flair there's only so much you can do to make boxing exciting(not a big fan of the sport myself)the final match is decent enough but for me the stand-out is the final brawl on the ship which rivals Jackie Chan films in terms of mayhem and stunts, unfortunately it's a bit long getting as before then aside from the boxing the film is fairly light on martial arts action and has some pacing issues.

Not a bad time as a whole, but as far as Tai Seng releases go there's definitely better ones out there like Interpol Connection and Spider Force.
