Rey develops her newly discovered abilities with the guidance of Luke Skywalker, who is unsettled by the strength of her powers. Meanwhile, the Resistance prepares for battle with the First Order.
Carrie Fisher was also a well-known writer, whose services were often called upon to act as script doctor for other films. She later began declining such assignments when producers would solicit her story ideas, then hire someone else to actually change the script, and use Fisher's ideas without paying her. However, director Rian Johnson revealed that Fisher helped with the writing of the script for this film.
Resistance Evacuation Officer:
We're not clear yet. There are still 30 pallets of cannon shells in C bunker.

In the first scene with Rey and Luke on the island, it is sunny. This scene is a direct continuation of the last scene of the previous movie, The Force Awakens; in that scene, it is cloudy and rainy.
The stars that form the backdrop for the end credits are exactly the same stars as the stars from the backdrop for the end credits of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016).
