Resistance Evacuation Officer:
We're not clear yet. There are still 30 pallets of cannon shells in C bunker.
Lieutenant Connix: Forget the munitions, there's no time. Just get everyone on the transports.
Lieutenant Connix: Oh, no.
It is stated that Snoke turned Kylo Ren to the dark side while he learned at Luke's Jedi academy (probably through the Force visions Snoke later uses to lure Rey to his ship). Snoke was clearly a threat back then, being a dark side Force user, yet there is no mention about any attempt to stop him previously. Clarification: It is established in Star Wars canon that powerful Dark Side users can use the Force to obscure their presence and their actions from other Force-users.
CORRECTION: If Snoke had cloaked himself in the hide of the Force, nobody would mention him by name as the main villain, but even back in EP7, Han Solo mentions him multiple time as the one responsible for Kylo Ren's turn to the dark side.
The stars that form the backdrop for the end credits are exactly the same stars as the stars from the backdrop for the end credits of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) .
