In a world where women have become asexual and are no longer giving birth to males, a quiet, unassuming housekeeper named Andrew Myers finds himself at the center of a battle to keep men from going extinct.
If parthenogenesis were occurring, the babies would all be daughters, true. But each would be an identical copy of her mother. This could not be considered "evolution" at all. In fact, it would be the end of evolution, the end of biodiversity.

At one point in the film, newspaper articles are shown onscreen to illustrate an large-scale event occurring. However, the articles refer to modern day Republicans such as Ted Cruz or Lindsey Graham, who could not possibly be politicians in the world presented in film.
