  • I disagree with the other viewer. I really enjoyed the video, but the music more. I remember her 'Control' song from the early 90's which I did like more than this one. The video is amazing, and it is done by Zalman King who directed "Wild Orchid 1 & 2", "Two Moon Junction 1 & 2", and also "9 1/2 Weeks". And who cares if the video shows two women together like the other review says.

It is a video that is telling a story. It is a STORY, and the song is trying to explain that story. I really like Traci Lords; I do not care about her past film history. I see a woman who took control of her life and has made music and film history on HER terms. Yes, I find that she is still finding her voice and music style. Which; many singers are also doing.
  • Warning: Spoilers
"Last Drag" is a song by Traci Lords from 2011, so this one is heading closer to its 10th anniversary and here we have the music video for that. It runs for approximately 200 seconds, so under 3.5 minutes and that is fairly short for a music video / song. But it is a good thing in that case because really this was no good by any means. I am slightly surprised I don't really know Lords with how old this already is, but shows me I did not really care about charts back then anymore as I read this was a big hit. I wonder why. Neither is voice is anything special nor the song, which isn't really catchy and the lyrics are relatively shallow and forgettable too. Tough for me to say anything positive here, but well you should not be surprised by that if you see my rating. What is even worse than the song is the music video. Reenacted as a male strip club where Lords is busy making out with the guys when she is not singing. For everybody with a preference for that, there is also some very brief girl-on-girl action, but all very harmless so that they would not get any problems with censors. I guess people's taste in music was not too good back then either just like you could say the same about people today with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Nicki Minaj dominating the charts. But I am drifting away now. This one we have here gets a huge thumbs-down. Highly not recommended and if you still want to check it out for whatever reason, I recommend the song only, not the video, because that one is at least not 100% bad. But the without a doubt best choice would obviously be to skip it altogether and listen to something else instead.
