    Warning: Spoilers
Let me start by saying I enjoy Nathan Barnatt's usual content. i love the Keith Apicary character and i love Talking Classics. however I can't help but to feel let down by Youth Large. It contains none of the clever humor I've come to expect from Nathan Barnatt. There isn't much to say about the characters, they all say everything there is to say about them in the first minute. (they are all variations on Kieth but none of them are as funny) I actually found them obnoxious. the character of Tony, however is infinitely interesting. in the beginning of the episode he leaves the group because he is fed up with them. okay, but why? the show never tells us. he just doesn't like them anymore. he isn't any less weird or over the top than they are. he acts just as obnoxious. so I'm just left wondering what his dramatic need is. he is an incomplete character. the comedy in the show is the worst part. in talking classics we see Keith's love for video games in the forefront. in most episodes he ends up reviewing a game, in talking classics it actually matters that he even plays games. in Youth Large, it doesn't matter, its a useless character trait that just feels stapled on so that here and there they can mention a game without really saying anything about it and pass it off as a joke. they don't include game references in clever ways either. its usually obvious references like saying "last night I had some deku nuts while saving Hyrule" in some scenes they just start listing games off like it's funny that they play video games and this is what causes the biggest problem. anyone who knows Nathan Barnatt knows he probably isn't a fan of The Big Bang Theory. but Youth Large just feels like a more over the top version of the show in question. Youth Large is a show that asks you to laugh at how nerdy the characters are, not relate to there love and passion for games and movies. and it actually does it worse than big bang theory does it. you could also say both contain four nerds, the Nerdiest of them is the face, Sheldon/Keith, and one of them is less nerdy than the others so he gets a girlfriend and distances himself a small bit from the group Leonard/Tony. so yeah. to sum it up. the show is obvious, brainless, and obnoxious.
