This Sweetheart series suffers from an obvious limitation: every release has four vignettes, all of which must contain at some point strap-on dildo sex. SInce Sweetheart is not a gonzo label but rather wedded to stories and characterizations, the imposition of "grab a strap-on" ruins many a scene.
For example, Kara Price and Hayden Winters are warring roommates: Hayden wants to study while Kara is selfish and keeps annoying her. They ultimately bury the hatchet and have sex, with Kara suddenly reaching over half-way through the scene and grabbing her dildo. It's ridiculous.
In Dana DeArmond's segment, she tells lover Dani Daniels she'd like to do something different, so why not a strap-on. Sinn Sage putting one on to service Kami Li is no surprise, while Aiden Starr is too much like her real persona of a domme, deciding wilfully to give visitor Leilani Leeane a lesson in lesbian sex.
Poor marks for writers Jet Michaels and James Avalon, with Avalon's direction hamstrung by this format.
