Everybody has the right to their own opinion, but if you're going to make it public you should at least do the minimum research.
Straight is an adaptation of a theather play, so it's supposed to be shot practically the whole story in the same place, Ro's appartment.
The lighting and the creative camera work is really impressive, Marcelo Tobar did a great job making the audience feel as if they were actually watching a theather play and the music is another wise decision.
The plot simple but correctly developed, there are a couple of fun situations that work very well. The cast do a good job.

What was the budget for this show.. most of the scenes were shot in the same place.. and the show felt very CHEAP... the acting was surprisingly weak and I thought the chemistry would be much better between the leads... the most disappointing thing to me was the editing and the random shots of the lead guys just back in the apartment.. it felt so random and there was no build up.. even the first scene of them meeting was so confusing and felt not properly done. This show based on the trailer and promo felt like there was so much promise in it and I feel like it truly was a waste of these actors talents.

Marcelo Tobar's adaptation of the play of the same name achieves to mantain the narrative style of a teather play while making the audience engaged in the plot, that, even though it's not as deep as it could have been, it's very faithful to the original source.
There're only three characters, Alejandro Speitzer, who this time plays the older role, Ro, and delivers a great performance. Franco Masini also does a good job as the young and naive new love interest Cris, and Bárbara López is amazing as the devoted long-term girlfriend Elia.
The long single shots, the chemistry between the characters and the stunning cinematography makes this film a very pleasant surprise.
