I rated it with 3 stars primarily due to the cast, with the exception of Soumak, whose performance was disappointing, and while the overall atmosphere seemed reminiscent of Breaking Bad Episode 2, it was executed poorly, and furthermore, the chemical compound referenced for dissolving bodies would inevitably dissolve the bathtub as well, indicating a lack of attention to detail; the overarching issue lies in the cheap imitation mentality and absence of originality, which have the potential to significantly undermine the integrity of this long-standing franchise.
They should work more on the plot.

I thought let's see a movie 'Ruddhaswas' type. But after watching, I think it's really waste of my time. Making is something like that some immature people made it.
Mostly the detective 'Eken' is hugely a boring character. He's not funny but boring. I don't want to watch him again and again!
Some people acted nicely as they normally do. Sudip Mukherjee and Rajatava Dutta were great. Location was fine, best for making a detective type movie.
But who made this movie bothersome? Yes, definitely the EKEN. I truly don't like this character. This character could be developed in another way and the movie could be much better I think.

The Eken Ruddhaswas Rajasthan was an absolute disaster of a movie, and I'll tell you why. First of all, the constant spoon-feeding of information was extremely annoying. It's like the filmmakers thought the audience was too dumb to understand what was going on, so they had to spell everything out for us. It felt like they were treating us like children.
Then there were those long advertisement scenes that were completely unnecessary and did nothing to contribute to the already ridiculous plot. It was like they were trying to sell us something instead of telling a story. That was outrageous. And to make matters worse, the movie had characters literally laughing out loud at their own jokes, as if we needed a reminder that it was supposed to be funny. The humor felt super forced and hardly landed, except for a few instances.
As for the suspense and thrill, well, there was none. The movie tried so hard to be suspenseful and thrilling, but it fell flat on its face. It was a total joke. And don't even get me started on those pointless scenes that contributed absolutely nothing to the plot. It was like they were just trying to fill time.
The only redeeming factor in the movie was Anirban's performance as Eken. He did a decent job, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to save the movie. Overall, The Eken Ruddhaswas Rajasthan was a complete snooze-fest, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Although I stay outside West Bengal , I have keenly watched the evolution of the prevalent genre of Bengali movies... some of them have been extremely mature and bold while the rest have been extremely poor... I have watched the other movie and web series of Eken Babu earlier and found it amusing , unorthodox but lacking the so called finesse to bring the audience to theatres in droves... Hence this time , I didn't have much expectation and just booked tickets to celebrate the Bengali New Year... But the movie pleasantly surprised us ... this is one of the finest Bengali adventure movie made during recent times ... it was funny but immensely enjoyable .. lot of twists and turns which couldn't be predicted... the direction is good , editing is amazing but the dialogues and cinematography are simply world class ... the camera told a beautiful story and the location and occasional quips from the detective were a wonderful tribute to the maestro Satyajit Ray's Sonar Kella... overall a must watch for all , especially for kids and teenagers ... a clean and enjoyable movie where the intermission elicited a gasp from the audience due to the flow getting interrupted ... I haven't seen such a response for a long time ...
I liked the movie very well, I passed it quite well. I'm not a film critic, I don't have the standards or qualifications required of a mass person to be a person. I just can say about my likes & dislikes only. I felt one flaw, the whole movie was shot in different places of Rajasthan, but for once I didn't see a peacock. Sudeep Mukhi liked the role of suspense. He is mostly seen in negative roles, he likes positive roles. Rest actors/actress are quite well to handle their character. It was bit nostalgic to saw "Sonar Kella" and "circuit house", recalls the childhood memory of the greatest movie "Sonar Kella" by Mr. Satyajit Ray.
