Hot Euro sex as usual, but overly minimal story
The cast speaks English in Private's release "The Widow", but a barely intelligible form of the Queen's language, merely to keep up with the Americanization of worldwide entertainment -even porn. Director Ettore Buchi is capable in the sexual performances department but slips up as storyteller.
Because of the cast's difficulty with a foreign tongue (pun intended sort of), a femme voice-over narration tells us what's happening. It's a back-of-the-envelope scenario: wife Black Angelika poisons her husband George to live happily with her bald and big- dicked butler Leny (his stage name Leny Evil might bring tears to Jean-Luc Godard's eyes).
Police detectives led by Ian Scott descend on her mansion and are all seduced by Angie and her girl friends, with Leny humping one of the girls as supposed "get even" for the Blackster humping Scott. But to no avail, as 2-hour feature ends with a perp walk for both BA and her servant/lover.
If that sounds like the bare bones for a film noir, it turns out to be all the bones, because the rest of the footage is just tedious boning. Anal sex is emphasized, as in seemingly 99.9% of European-made Adult videos, and the girls are all attractive and enthusiastic. Director Buchi has basically 3 sets: a huge bathroom (where not only the murder but plenty of hot, stand-up sex occurs), a bedroom (not much action there - that would be too conventional), and especially the mansion's living room that has vast picture windows that provide a beautiful Riviera-like landscape outside.
This line of Private videos, with Leny returning in a sort of sequel, is made by a German company Magik View which inexplicably won an industry award as best new company -perhaps reflecting on the paucity of interesting new sources of porn during this dark Gonzo Age, I liked seeing Black Angelika in action sort of portraying a storyline character, and the film differs from her long list of Marc Dorcel credits in its limited scope and bareback (no rubbers) sex, but more locations, action and story would have helped greatly.
