Episode 7 of the TV series "Penguin"

Episode 7 of "Penguin" turned out to be intense and intriguing. The plot continues to evolve, and new unexpected twists appear that make the viewer feel tense.

The characters are getting deeper and more layered, and I especially noted the development of the main character. His internal conflicts are perfectly shown, which causes empathy.

The visual part of the series is also pleasing: beautiful landscapes and thoughtful cinematography create an atmosphere that perfectly complements the narrative.

Rating: 9 out of 10. I'm looking forward to the next episode!

The series is very beautiful and international. The actors were very creative. Oz's acting was fantastically perfect in his role. Victor's acting and style of speaking were wonderful. Sofia shocked me with the strength of her acting and her embodiment and change in her character. If she doesn't win Best Actress, raise the rating of the series. The minimum should be 9. The scene of the mother was very touching and sad, and how she supports her only son. I hope there will be a movie after the series. The series should be released for at least four seasons so we can enjoy it. I would like to thank all those in charge of this work, and thank the filming crew and the wonderful actors.

Penultimate episodes of shows, even great shows, are often like this: they nudge the chess pieces to exactly where they need to be for an explosive conclusion; but they're pretty uninspired as standalone stories. Whether or not The Penguin is a great series that sticks the landing or it's merely a flashy series without any real substance now hangs entirely on the last episode. Frankly the teaser for the finale doesn't fill me with confidence. But a show that's been so good so far gets the benefit of the doubt. In the interim this 7th entry warrants essentially the same critique as lackluster episode 5: great performances by Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Deirdre O'Connell and Clancy Brown; grim, gritty direction in a grounded setting; a ludicrous and pointless character in Dr. Julian Rush; slick dialogue undermined by questionable plot contrivances; and a sense that there are some unnecessary diversions to pad the runtime.

For something that had big moments this was one of the slower episodes of the season, not bad just slower.

This episode drops us back to when Oz was a kid and the reality of what happened his brothers and his moms reaction. It was nice to see what happened as we heard about it in early episodes along with some names mentioned appeared. In the present Oz is on the hunt for his mom who has been taken by Sofia. Sofia comes to a realisation no matter how she presents herself she will always be a Falcone and this troubles her and she must deal with it. Salvatore is hell bent on causing Oz as much physical pain as he can as he wants to be led to the Bliss operations.

A solid episode, I did feel that it was set up for the final episode. In saying that I'd say at least 2 massive things have happened this episode that effects the course of the show. The acting all round was nothing short of fantastic, Sofia isn't as much of a presence this episode compared to what she has been, I think Sal was probably the best alongside Oz.

The star in my opinion was Francis, his mom was brilliant, it really shows that a deeply troubled person can have an affect on their children, she fuels him, she rallies behind him believing what he is doing is right, great scenes with her. Overall good but looking forward to next week !! 8/10.

When I think it can't keep it up, The Penguin releases another masterpiece in episode 7. This thing is one week, one finale away from being a genuinely perfect show. If it sticks the landing, it'll go down as one of the best singular seasons of television I've ever seen.

I love how the show drives home the point of oz being a terrible human being if you can even call him human.. it'll give you moments that make you like him then BAM!

I say it every week, but if Cristin Milioti doesn't get that Emmy we need to have a serious conversation. She's giving generational performances every week with her eyes alone. Sofia is easily the best character in the show, she's literally killing it.
