A grumpy Grinch plots to ruin Christmas for the village of Whoville.
The last Illumination film of the 2010s to be released in 2.39:1 aspect ratio.
What did you put down here, a roller skate?
Cindy-Lou Who: No, just batter. Mrs. Wilbur and I made cookies.
When the Grinch is talking to Mr. Bricklebaum, the ladder behind the Grinch flips. The folding joints are on the underside of the ladder and, in a quick shot, they change to the top and back down again in the next shot.
Cindy-Lou asks Santa-Grinch to bring something to make her mom's life better. Over the end titles, we see that The Grinch has created a number of labor-saving devices, which do indeed make her happier and her life easier.
The UK theatrical release was censored in order to obtain a U classification; the distributor chose to remove several uses of mild bad language (ass) from a song number in order to avoid the film receiving a PG rating uncut.
$67,572,855 (USA) (11 November 2018)
