A grumpy Grinch plots to ruin Christmas for the village of Whoville.
There is a new reason for why the Grinch has to go down to Whoville during Christmas season. He initially had stockpiles of food to last him till the start of January but due to his excessive "emotional" eating, he was reduced to a mere bean on a plate just five days shy of Christmas itself.
Alright, let's get on with this.
Ozzy: Yeah, I don't have much time, my mom set the timer.
Ozzy: Don't ask. It's new.
Several times the Grinch stands on a rock outcropping by his cave that overlooks Whoville. On long shots of his cave, the outcropping is missing.
Cindy-Lou asks Santa-Grinch to bring something to make her mom's life better. Over the end titles, we see that The Grinch has created a number of labor-saving devices, which do indeed make her happier and her life easier.
The UK theatrical release was censored in order to obtain a U classification; the distributor chose to remove several uses of mild bad language (ass) from a song number in order to avoid the film receiving a PG rating uncut.
