GET DEAD is a woeful indie comedy that goes down the 'redneck humour' avenue but fails at every opportunity. It's about a couple of goons who try to prove a local legend exists and at times it reminded me of TUCKER AND DALE VS. EVIL, but you have to understand that this is very cheaply made and quite without merit from beginning to end. The humour is deeply unfunny and there's no real horror content here, the thing is tame from beginning to end and it really is one big waste of time.

kaefab9 June 2017Has the other review stats, this movie is very cheap, it was released in 2014 but should never have been release i see that 6 people voted a high score but this as to be fake, probably wannabee actors from the movie that gave it a high note.
Once again i cannot understand that in 2017 or 2014 for that mater that movies like this are still being made, what is the goal certainly not profit, because they will not make any money out of this for sure.
This as many other indie movies look like a high school project gone wrong.

mikeledo1 July 2017John (Markus Baldwin) and Clarence (Jason Hillhouse) are two hillbillies with a bromance going. There is a legend about Madge, a killer who lives out in Yellow Ridge Woods. She died a few decades ago and is said to be looking for her head. People come to Hooperville to go hunting for her.
The film is for those who like "Hee-Haw" and have a bit of an understanding or mountain humor. Having lived part of my life in East Tennessee, I have an appreciation for the dialogue and all the misspeaks. While I don't envision a lot of folks loving this film, I loved it as well as I love watching "Redneck Zombies" and Hillbilly Ninja on U-tube. I loved the two Joes and Banjo Phil and wife.
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.
