This episode is a good one in my book, this is the show doing their horror anthology and I thought that was a cool you could say their "Treehouse of Horror" and makes sense due to the nature of the show.
The only bad thing is the third and final tale I thought was the weak one, it's sort of the "Liar Liar" story but not as funny, we there is a moment or two of amusement but like I said a moment.
Other than that, everything else is fine. The first tale I really like "Voice Over" it's just funny seeing Dipper talk with a voice that sounds like a commercial announcer. The verbal humor with him just cracks me up, he has some of the best lines and moments from what he says as he's about to leave the shack or saying lines like "Aieeee" and "Escape" while taking action even though he really doesn't have to say it.
One other thing that cracks me up is when both Zoos and Mabel here his new voice for the first time they keep beating him up with a weapon mistaking thinking he's been possessed by a demon, I'd probably think Dipper was possessed too.
The second tale is also good, it's sort of the "Bishop of Battle" tale but done with pinball which I thought was something different. And I love pinball, I'm a pinball player myself so it really was refreshing seeing a tale involving pinball for once.
The only weak point of the tale is I felt there really wasn't enough action involved, would have liked to of seen all three get chased by the pinballs or something, or the main villain the talking cowboy skull pull more tricks or obstacles for them to get though, but due to time constraints it couldn't be helped so oh well.
But this episode like any pinball game was fun all the same, really like the design of the pinball table and that its western themed, sort of reminds me may 'be even an homage to the pinball game "Cactus Canyon".
Really like some of the dialog delivered from the main villain which was funny and had a little menace which is kinda true to most pinball games that have a talking voice which sounded slightly sinister.
Zoos was funny as usual, we see a scene where he is faced with the dilemma to end the game to save everyone's lives but have his high score erased which he clams is his first life accomplishment, I thought "wow Zoo's that's really sad". Can Zoo's win this round of pinball, wait and find out?
After watching that tale hopefully somewhere along the line we can get a "Gravity Falls" pinball game.
