  • Warning: Spoilers
The title implies gonzo porn, but filmmaker Nica Noelle's creativity and serious approach to XXX moviemaking results in an innovative (for its time nearly a decade back) romantic drama. And solid acting deserves kudos, too.

Despite that title, suspense is generated as hero Rocco Reed tries to address his problem, left unspecific until the final reels. He's neglecting his wife of one year, gorgeous Asa Akira, and she suspects he's cheating.

He isn't, but ultimately we see both him and Asa being unfaithful until the finale has them back in love with each other after she adds pegging to their lovemaking.

Nica is careful to balance the central two-characters' drama with a fine supporting cast -each of whom is given a real role to play: Wolf Hudson as a porn star to whom Rocco goes for advice; Annie Cruz as a knowlegable woman Wolf enlists to help guide Rocco through his erotic fantasy/fetish; Lucky Starr, empathetic as Asa's mom; Dana Vespoli, in her element as Starr's lesbian mate; and Alec Knight as Asa's boss who makes what would now be classified as Cuomo-style sexual harassment seem just fine.

BTS short subject reveals that this was the first pegging scene ever directed by Nica and also Rocco's first pegging scene on screen. Noelle makes sure the kink flows naturally from her script and fits within the full Asa/Rocco sex scene that climaxes the movie, rather than being just a gimmick.
