  • Warning: Spoilers
"Minion Mayhem 3D" is basically a 13-minute short film that is a theme park attraction. It opened after the overwhelming success of the first 2Despicable Me" movie. I would say this is a good watch for fans of the film, but this is pretty much a given as why would anybody else go see that theme park attraction. First things first: The good thing about it is that they got the major voice actors from the film in here to voice their characters again. And there are some funny scenes, like when the Minions transform into elephant-like creatures for example. I thought overall this was a good watch. I believe the franchise has gotten a lot worse since it started, but this short film here shows no signs of decline really. No greatness either, but pretty solid overall. Thumbs up.
  • Sure I miss Jimmy Neutron, but this is definitely the best ride I've ever been on! I don't care if it looks like a theater, or you can see the pods, or that it's 2D now, this is still awesome no matter what! My favorite Universal ride at Orlando tied with Hagrid's!
  • I've been on a lot of these 3D experiences and I'm pretty sure I still haven't seen one I even remotely enjoyed.

I like Despicable Me and adore Minions so logically I should have enjoyed this but the less than 10 minute experience is simply a mindless cashgrab and alike the others wasn't entertaining.

Lots of noise, no actual plot, just a lot of motion with little purpose.

I'm sure kids will love this, me not so much.

    The Good:

    Features the original voices

    The Bad:

    Just pure chaos

    Not even remotely funny

Things I Learnt From This Short:

These rides were entertaining enough in the 80's, not now.
