  • Stormy and her cast try hard but "Divorcees" (sloppily misspelled with different accents over the final e -opening vs. end credits displays) isn't funny enough. The sex is okay but she missed the chance to create an Adult Feature that could win over audiences in a soft Pay-Cable edit - I don't know Wicked even bothered to try for a pay-TV sale.

The always satisfying teaming of Stormy with fellow Wicked contract star Julia Ann has them as divorcees who hook up with a mutual friend Veronica Avluv (a widow) to share their misery. Film opens with Stormy's husband Aaron Wilcoxxx humping his secretary at his home, caught in the act by Stormy's arrival, and her comically fainting away at the sight. A support group led by guest NonSex player Allie Haze has the gals humorously voicing their grievances, punching photos of the miscreant males and then cutting up paper penises to vent. Big names like Penny Pax and Presley Hart also have NonSex cameos here.

Lack of solid story material has the movie disintegrate rather early on, after the busty star trio fly from Kansas to L.A. to live it up at the mansion of Julia's aunt. Their misadventures are fairly lame, unable to get into a dance club due to a mean Rope Line doorman (clearly a guy who doesn't watch porn, not able to recognize these iconic MILFS) and then Avluv's bad trip with cocaine.

Misery for me was Stormy's casting her favorite actor Brendon Miller and the awful Tommy Pistol as over-the-top ham-bones impersonating modern deejays. The two of them dance around, gesticulate and speak mock- hipster/hip hop dialog to effectively kill off the last half of the show. Avluv has already fantasized sex with exercise guru Marcus London, and is off stalking his Hollywood mansion redundantly (their second sex scene is just soft-core snippets, just fine for Showtime After Hours) while during an all-night dumb search for Veronica, the boys have a three-way with buxom and tattooed specialty performer Jessie Lee, who looks here like a Stormy understudy pressed into service. (In reality she's an escapee from the Joanna Angel school of amateur, tattooed porn.)

Finale is hard-up for sex Julia Ann and Stormy resorting to Sapphic action together, certainly an anthology-ready scene aimed at their legions of fans.
