Okay, the title could be better, but thanks to the talent of writer and actress Rachel Bloom, "The Hunger Pains" is an entertaining 2-minute spoof of the famous "Hunger Games" franchise. This was made 4 years ago and, besides 2016 Golden Globe winner, also includes likable actress Mindy Sterling from the "Austin Powers" films. For a 2-minute film it was pretty funny and I believe, it could have run for a couple minutes more without becoming repetitive at some point. "The Hunger Games" sure has enough to offer in terms of spoofing. Then again, this was made look like a trailer and taking that into account, the runtime is appropriate again. I enjoyed the watch and I recommend checking it out. Thumbs up.
