  • The concept of adapting a story about a fictional Asiad medalist is very good & innovative.

The filmmakers have done a very hard job in shooting a film running for 150 minutes in high range of Kizhakemala. The direction is good, rendition is good & the characters are genuine. What it lacks is a good screenplay; accompanied with poor writing & and a very bad second half. First half is rejuvenating but just before it hits interval, everything falls apart as the story rolls to a typical Malayalam drama based on revenge.

Ann Augustine is plump & rather average for portraying the character of lead sprinter. Supporting cast is good enough. Kalabhavan Mani as well as Saikumar are good. Overall, poor judgment & execution spoils a nice concept.

BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend it because it talks about how a sprinter lives her life in India after her glorifying stint in athletics. The climax is true but the love factor involved all over should have been neglected. 3.7/10.

Can be watched with a typical Indian family? YES
