My Girlfriend's Mother 4

Julia Ann makes Adult film acting look easy in this fourth installment of the Sweet Sinner series that per its title follows a rigid format, but manages to overcome the obstacle of predictability. Getting there (the inevitable conclusion scene) is all the fun.

She's momma to pristene beauty of a daughter Vanessa Cage, a constantly employed Adult actress who somehow has never gotten the roles she deserves. (Evidently born too late, as features amidst the morass of gonzo are few and far between nowadays).

Vanessa brings her borderline layabout boyfriend James Deen to visit Momma and her elderly boyfriend Mark Davis, for an outdoor dinner on the terrace that is the movie's centerpiece. That terrace belongs to the "Immoral Proposal" mansion, so named by me after the classic Sweet Sinner movie of that name set there, starring April O'Neil and Mr. Pete.

Director James Avalon, who displays a sure hand throughout, cheats a bit by having Vanessa's "apartment" where she lives also shot at the same "Immoral Proposal" site, clearly evident from the same bed and concave windows seen in scores of other XXX videos, but clearly meant to double as a distant location for the uninformed.

Deen was a student in teacher Julia's 12th grade English class, and the script by Jet Michaels and Avalon makes excellent references to a classic novel Julia taught Deen in class that stuck with him: Stendahl's The Red and the Black. Likening Julia to Mme. de Renal and Deen to Julien in that tale gives this video considerable depth, especially compared to the illiterate if not anti-literate nature of its gonzo porn peers in the marketplace.

Of course the hook-up in the sack of our two superstars in the final reels comes to pass, but not before we get to see both ladies humping their age-appropriate boyfriends. "Extraneous" sex vignette included also gives us a parallel, as Julia's best friend and fellow teacher Dana Vespoli is humping her boy-toy Dane Cross, maintaining his status as the all-time young MILF magnet in porn.

Like his predecessor with Sweet Sinner and this series Nica Noelle, Avalon leaves the story open-ended, but I was more than satisfied with the subtle nuance of Julian Ann's facial reactions and her torrid sex action on the couch, with even the usually mannered (and annoying) Deen on his best behavior this time out.
