TV Series | TV-MA | | Biography, Crime, Drama
An anthology series centered around America's most notorious crimes and criminals.
The show follows the anthology format of Ryan Murphy's other series, American Horror Story (2011). The first season focuses on the murder trial of O.J. Simpson, the second season concerns the murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace.
The third season was initially going to be based on Douglas Brinkley's book about Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath of FEMA's slow response to assist storm ravaged New Orleans, but in late 2017 the option for Brinkley's book was dropped in favor of Sheri Fink's book "Five Days at Memorial" which centered on events that occurred at Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans after Katrina and the fourth season is set to explore the Bill Clinton sex scandal.
On the show, the judge at the preliminary hearing was played by a man. In reality the judge was a woman, Kathleen Kennedy Powell.
