Filthy Family 5

This desultory series is sort of porn slapstick, probably not on purpose. A prolific hack named Bobby Manila evidently makes a living cranking out such sludge, living off the reputations of talented talent that he hires to hump before the video cameras.

Big surprise for me was the revelation, after sitting through two random volumes of the "Filthy Family" series, is that Big Bobby never includes any incest action. The dumb family members interact with each other via conversation but only hump other people, in order to earn the "filthy" epithet.

Acting is extremely poor, even by name talent. Veronica Avluv as matriarch overacts and Charles Dera seems perplexed, on the level of "how did my agent get me involved in this crap?". Improvised dialog is atrocious, and the set-ups leading to XXX sex content are insultingly stupid. Watching 2-1/2 hours is quite a slog.

Some of the worst elements begin with Dana DeArmond as an "English teacher" (in your dreams) barging into Veronica's home, heading for son Johnny Castle's bedroom where he's busy masturbating, and then servicing the kid. I say "kid" advisedly, since Castle is only 8 years younger than actress Avluv, and never plays the "young things" that Tyler Nixon, Dane Cross, Seth Gamble specialize in. Call it miscasting, if such a concept could ever cross the mind of Manila.

Second segment is an embarrassing burlesque of April O'Neil fondling Rocco Reed under the table while her daddy Charles Dera is oblivious at same table to the hanky-panky. I'm a big O'Neil fan, but she is wasted here. Same distributor (Mile High) released a better O'Neil film by Nica Noelle "Immoral Proposal" via Sweet Sinner the year after this stinker from their Reality Junkies label came out.

Chris Johnson gets to hump jail-bait Jessie Andrews, followed by siblings April & Johnny comparing notes, and plotting to get both mommy & daddy laid (separately that is). If this makes any sense, perhaps I didn't smoke the proper Manila blend to find out.

So we get Anthony Rosano employed to service Veronica, and lovely Mae Meyers receiving a cream-pie from daddy Charles. Except for that deposit, Manila insists on facials to end all the other scenes. Meyers is one of thousands of Adult starlets who never made it to the industry's favored list whereby a sweet young thing gets to perform in hundreds of videos before being sent packing. It's crap like this that is putting the final nails in the coffin of Storyline Adult Cinema.
