Two small-time thugs, an old woman living with a dark secret, a young woman desperate to get out, and a check-cashing store full of money will all intersect in a small Texas town - in eight days.

An incarcerated crime boss hires his no-good nephew Elvis and his broody partner Jeremiah to travel to a small town in Texas and get his money back from a former partner, one Landon Mooney. Upon arrival, the duo finds out Landon is actually an old lady who drank and gambled away all the money long time ago. She offer a quick hustle to get all the sum back and even more. While waiting for the day X, Elvis starts a fling with a local young woman without realizing how complicated the situation will become.
