Power Games: The Packer-Murdoch Story

Great show, was very disappointed to not see other episodes were made. Hope it gets a new level of interest with it being on streaming services and the rest of the story is told. The inserts of old footage was very effective and fitting sound track. The series was excellent, a lot better than most, if not all other Australian made shows, and just as good as any American productions that I have seen. There is lots about this story, I had no idea about. It is amazing how the Murdoch family developed such a stronghold in Australia the overseas media outlets. And the Packer family, with its mass media influence in Australia and it's changing dynamic through the different generations of the family. Anyway, bring it back. I'd watch it. 7.8/10 is a pretty impressive score as it is.

Just had the privilege to watch this great piece of Australian television drama and what a great job done by all the cast I could not find any flaws in the acting whatsoever.Having lived through the era from the 1950's to now (2013) and knowing of these larger than life characters which in many ways are part of Australian history I was so impressed with this production,such praise from me is unusual as many regard me as quite harsh on Australian produced shows' ,this is the exception as my fist ever score of a 9 stars for a TV series reflects........like good stories that are Real? Then go watch >>> Power Games.......
