A fairly good paced story. Plot was easy to follow. The writing was good enough. The actors did a good job with what was written. The locations were interesting, liked the way the Durango and Silverton Railroad was used. The drunk magician was over the top in performance, less would have been more. The Count was atypical heavy still filled his purpose in the story. The Mexican spy filled the typical damsel in distress. The bureau and it's chief were a little over played but good enough to make a good impression. The special effects for the infinity gun and its use in the show down seemed a little cheesy. The wardrobe fit the time in which the story takes place. The soundtrack was pretty good.

GENTLEMEN EXPLORERS is an example of the typical indie cosplay-type comedy. It's a Steampunk adventure with a Victorian setting and lots of green screen backdrops and the like. A lot of attention has been paid to the setting and the costumes and the technology but the story is slight and predictable and the performances are very bad.
