  • This timid porn junker emulating Alan Parker's classic (with Brad Davis) "Midnight Express" is a non-starter. Like another stinker from director Gianfranco Romagnoli titled "Tropical Pleasure" or "Hot Sinners", this one has nothing to recommend it.

Basically about a stupid heroine Angela (played by lovely Valentina Canali) who tapes packages of drugs to her midriff and is quickly discovered at customs, we see her uninteresting non-adventures in Turkish prison. The myriad opportunities for "Ilsa" styled XXX mayhem in stir are avoided in place of tedium -she gets humped. It's generic sex, freely available on the internet without Mr. Romagnoli's intervention.

Crudely made, and shot in Budapest merely for convenience (that's where the models live) it is light on action and light on plot. Romagnoli is usually making a living as a location manager (same week I watched a video where that was his function), and should give up directing post-haste.

Sharon Lee, an Oriental actress from France, briefly livens up the supporting cat but this one is immediately forgettable.
