One good and well done series on ID Discovery is the series called "Swamp Murders". As it always features real life cases of murders and abductions some of the episodes have cases that have been solved other cases have been ones that are not solved, still most all of the ones profiled occur in the deep south in states like Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and the victims as you guessed are often after their abduction and murders taken and their bodies found in thick swamp like forests and on dead end trails many times in rural areas. And this series proves that crimes like murder and abductions happen in rural places in the south just as well as it's not always the crime of the big city and urban areas that gets attention. And the series features interviews from family members and police detectives overall it's one to watch for any real life crime buff!

marandafooshee13 June 2023I love this series. It is one of my favorite murder mystery shows. The fact that these cases are real, adds to the appeal of the show. I am on the third season right now. I have loved every episode so far. The actors do a good in the reinactments. I love that they show the family and friends of the victims. I also like that they get the last word on the case. The cases have all been very interesting. Most cases are solved after a lot of years has gone by. The advancement of DNA helps to solve these cold cases. The swamps the victims end up in are characters in themselves. I like that the narrator says "they give up their secrets".

tlynn-425167 November 2021I love true crime and watch a lot of different shows. I am used to the acting being over the top in some of them but the acting in this series is just terrible. It makes it really hard and awkward to watch sometimes.

Joannahaley9 February 2021The issue with this is the acting. I guess they just don't have access to decent actors because some of the actors are awful.
I watch the show because I am a fan of true crime, but sometimes the level of acting is difficult to put up with.
It is valuable though that they provide family member and police accounts.
