  • Robby D directed Kayden Kross and many of her fellow Digital Playground contract stars in the years following the label's hitting paydirt with the "Pirates" movies, and now KK is near the top of the list of leading Adult Cinema directors. Watching utter crap like "Slice of Heaven" it becomes clear that Kayden did not copy Robby's example but rather learned what to avoid.

This dismal attempt at romantic comedy operates at approximately the level of an ancient stag film, only elongated to feature length. Static scenes unfold on poorly dressed set, and the basic premise is as lame and old-hat as the "pizza delivery boy" cliche in porn.

Only this time, it involves pizza delivery girls who are in reality prostitutes. Check that, they are really porn actresses, further blurring the lines between roles in the sex worker business.

Opening scene is non-scripted (Robby doesn't claim a script credit this time out) and has KK improvising in a hurry to establish the basic set-up: Ryan Driller sells her his bagel shop because his girlfriend has run off with the bagel maker. She turns the place into a pizzeria, and the rest is history.

Mackenzee Pierce, so familiar from her innumerable Brazzers vignette appearances, takes breast in show as one of the delivery gals, while Sam Ryan, with dark hair this time out, is a surprise choice as fellow deliverer. In the BTS short subject it is amusing to watch how Tommy Gunn has to stand on a box to meet eye to eye with the tall beauty, just like they used to do in ancient Hollywood.

Attempts at comedy (KK mocks the Ebola disease, hardy-har har) are horrible, and the predictable romantic outcome falls completely flat. This is a level of incompetence that easily escapes detection, as I doubt anyone (other than yours truly) is likely to scrutinize major label porn assembly-line product en masse.

Only glimmer of a mind behind this dross is a dumb in-joke in which pizza chef Brandy Aniston's character name is Samantha, while Samantha Ryan the schlepper's name is Brandy - mocking the traditional porno shortcut (for convenience) of usually adopting the cast's stage names as their character names and meant to confuse the novice viewer who cannot identify these rather familiar actresses by sight.
