  • For better or worse (better, if you ask me) no one makes films quite like Jared Masters. It's like they've leaked in from a similar, but weirder, universe than our own. I'm very into it.

Seeing Andy Dick's arse was a rough start to Deadly Punkettes, but thankfully he swiftly exited the movie and we got on with the thrust of the plot, a punky girl group on the road to stardom! That carries on for a while, then something happens that makes things much odder.

All the women are beautiful, the film making is messy as Hell in a way I love, and I'm gonna need that soundtrack on pink glitter vinyl please and thank you.

    I had a blast.
  • This made me wanna have a slumber party and eat ring pops with my girlfriends..then start a punk band! Every movie by Jared Masters that I've seen has been nothing but fun. There is just something about this one that is truly and naturally girly. The soundtrack from this is something that I replay often and sing along to. Especially "Ruxpin" and "Pink Guitar." All of the actresses in his movies genuinely look like they're having a great time, which makes it even better to watch. I have been blabbing about this to my friends since I first watched it, and more people need to check his work out!!
